Job Summary

Stockton based company of 70+ years, looking for an experienced tanker-truck driver to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Transport liquid propane and ammonia to manufacturing plants or industrial facilities.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Maintain electronic logs.
• Comply with truck driving regulations, company policies, and procedures.
• Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Report defects, accidents, and violations.

Skills

• Minimum 3 years of proven tanker-truck driving experience.
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly, including periodic out-of-state travel.
• Experience driving in snow and using tire chains preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
• No recent moving violations or major driving infractions.
• Adaptability and foresight to manage unexpected situations, including traffic and weather conditions.
• Commercial Class A License with Hazmat Certificate and all required endorsements.
